Westfield awards $3.7 million in Sid Fay field complex contracts

NJ WESTFIELD — Westfield awards $3.7 million in contracts for Sid Fay and Houlihan fields renovation. The Town Council unanimously approved contracts for parking lot expansion, a new field house, and synthetic turf replacement, with work on the turf fields expected to begin July 20 and conclude by month's end. Applied Landscape Technologies received the $2.93 million parking and field house contract, while FieldTurf USA was authorized to replace the synthetic turf for up to $746,820.76.

The Council also removed the historic landmark designation for 18 Stoneleigh Park and approved a $195,000 energy efficiency program for a municipal building.
