Westfield Commission reschedules Tour de Westfield to avoid Rosh Hashana conflict

NJ WESTFIELD — Westfield Recreation Commission addresses Rosh Hashana scheduling conflict. The commission voted unanimously April 6 to recommend rescheduling Tour de Westfield from September 13 to September 20 or 27, moving the cycling event away from the Jewish holiday's second day. Chair Andrew Braunstein and fellow commissioners unanimously approved the Meet Your Neighbors community event for May 9 at Tamaques Park, featuring a bubble show and carnival activities.
Westfield Baseball presented approximately $75,500 in field-maintenance proposals pending approval and Trust B funding.
