NJ WESTFIELD — Westfield Recreation Commission approves park initiatives and updates programs. The commission approved the Cupid's Run race on February 14 at Tamaques Park by motion of Dean Oligino, seconded by Bonnie Stewart, and approved an Eagle Scout project by Alex Fu to install boot scrapers at park entrances to prevent the spread of invasive plant species and harmful insects. Pool registration opens February 5 at 10 a.m., with the Summer Playground Program registration pace exceeding expectations at newly selected locations.
