NJ WESTFIELD — Westfield Board of Adjustment unanimously approved three variance applications at a special meeting. The board granted relief for Daniel and Alexandra Wertheim of 531 Topping Hill Road for a second-story addition after they revised plans to reduce floor area ratio coverage from approximately 2.2 to 1.09 percent. Approvals also went to Cynthia Klimaszawski for a swimming pool at 725 Willow Grove Road and Theresa Clark Drane for an accessible bedroom at 115 Osborn Avenue for her disabled veteran husband with Gary Sinise Foundation assistance.
A fourth application from Charles Pijanowski for a two-story dwelling was continued to December 14 after neighbors raised drainage and size concerns.
